Aerolase Reverse Protocol: 1064nm Nd:YAG + 2940nm Er:YAG Synergistic Skin Rejuvenation | IMCAS 2026
Dr. Francisca Kartono presents the Aerolase Reverse protocol at IMCAS 2026 — combining 1064nm Nd:YAG and 2940nm Er:YAG lasers for full-thickness rejuvenation.
In this IMCAS 2026 presentation from Paris, Dr. Francisca Kartono explains the science and clinical rationale behind the Aerolase Reverse protocol — a dual-wavelength approach that combines nonablative 1064nm Nd:YAG laser treatment with ablative 2940nm Er:YAG laser resurfacing to treat both the dermal and epidermal layers of the skin in a single session.
Dr. Kartono breaks down why a synergistic, multi-modality laser protocol delivers superior patient outcomes compared to single-wavelength treatments alone. She covers how the 1064nm Nd:YAG laser achieves nonablative dermal remodeling and neocollagenesis by targeting the skin's primary chromophores — hemoglobin, melanin, and water — while the 2940nm Er:YAG ablative laser addresses the superficial epidermal layer, enabling full-thickness skin rejuvenation from the dermis up.
Key Topics Covered:
- Why synergistic laser protocols improve clinical outcomes for skin rejuvenation.
- How combining nonablative and ablative modalities treats skin from bottom to top.
- The role of 1064nm Nd:YAG microsecond laser technology in dermal remodeling and neocollagenesis.
- How 2940nm Er:YAG ablative resurfacing complements deeper dermal treatments.
- Saving patients time and money with multi-modality treatment plans.
- When to recommend the Reverse protocol in your aesthetic or dermatology practice.
