Dr. Mark Cappel
Dual board-certified Dermatologist and Dermatopathologist
Dr. Mark A. Cappel is a double board-certified dermatologist and dermatopathologist and the founder and medical director of Dermagnify in Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida. He earned his MD from Penn State College of Medicine with Alpha Omega Alpha honors and completed his dermatology residency at Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville, followed by a dermatopathology fellowship at Mayo Clinic in Rochester. He subsequently served as a staff physician at Mayo Clinic for nine years, including leadership roles in residency education. Dr. Cappel has authored more than 45 peer-reviewed publications and has presented clinical research at national and international dermatology conferences. His dual expertise in clinical dermatology and dermatopathology informs a diagnostic precision-first approach to skin health across medical, surgical, and aesthetic care.
