The LightPod laser platform represents a technical breakthrough in the form of an internally air-cooled machine with a direct emitter output, resulting in a highly compact laser device. At 22 pounds, the laser can literally be transported on the back seat of a compact car, and moved among clinics or spas for maximum revenue generation. You can even take your laser on board a commercial aircraft as it fits in the carry-on size luggage requirements.
This innovative design is a major departure from the prior generation of cumbersome, maintenance-intensive lasers that include internal water-cooling systems and optical fiber lightguides.
Compared to the stationary water-cooled laser systems, this design provides major savings in equipment cost and the elimination of scheduled service calls.
It also enables the practitioner to plug the laser into any convenient 115V electrical outlet in any treatment room, however small. Also, the LightPod laser is ready to work after just 10 seconds of warm-up time and self calibration.
